AssetMantis is a web app for tracking physical assets (equipment, tools, machinery, safety kit, IT) using QR labels. Scan a label with a phone to see the asset's details, photos, documents, issues and maintenance, and to record work done.

No. AssetMantis runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer. You can add it to your phone's home screen so it opens like an app.

Most people have an organisation created and their first labels printed in under 30 minutes. Labelling everything takes as long as walking round with a sheet of stickers.

Yes. The Free plan covers 1 user, 10 assets and 1 site with no time limit, and no card is needed.

Yes. On the Professional plan, and for all founding customers during early access, send us your spreadsheet via the contact form and we'll help get it loaded.

Any. You can download an A4 PDF for Avery 25mm square labels (70 per sheet, e.g. Avery L7120) and print on an ordinary printer, or export a CSV for a label printer. For outdoor use, choose weatherproof polyester labels.

Yes. Sticker packs are available as an add-on (120 or 600 labels). During early access we arrange these by hand, so ask via the contact form.

Every label shows its code as text as well as a QR code, so you can type it in manually. To replace it, generate a new label and attach it to the asset.

They see an 'Access denied' message and learn nothing about the asset or your organisation. Only signed-in members of your organisation can see asset details.

Any reasonably modern iPhone or Android phone with a camera and a current browser (Safari, Chrome, Edge, Firefox). The phone's built-in camera app will also open AssetMantis labels.

You need an internet connection to load and save records. In poor-signal areas, the label code can be noted and the work recorded once you're back online.

'From completion' counts forward from when the job was actually done (e.g. service 6 months after the last one). 'Fixed date' keeps a calendar rhythm regardless (e.g. the 9th of every month), which suits compliance and contractual inspections.

Yes. The Maintenance Calendar has a list view (Overdue / Due in 7 days / Upcoming) and a month calendar grid that also shows estimated future repeats.

Yes. Maintenance templates can include checklist items answered Pass or Fail when the work is completed. Build a template once and apply it to as many assets as you like.

Email reminders for due and overdue work are on our roadmap. For now, the dashboard and calendar show what's overdue and coming up.

Yes. Every completion is stored with who did it, when, the notes and the checklist answers.

Owners and Admins invite people by email from Settings → Team, choosing a role: Admin, Editor or Viewer.

Viewers can see everything but change nothing. Editors can add and edit assets, claim labels, complete maintenance and report issues. Admins can also manage sites, labels, templates and the team. Owners have full control. The user guide has the full table.

Yes. Invite a contractor as an Editor so they can record work, or as a Viewer for read-only access, and remove them when the job is done.

Yes. Free includes 1 site, Starter 5, and Professional and Enterprise unlimited.

In London, United Kingdom (AWS eu-west-2), on Supabase (a managed PostgreSQL platform). Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.

Only members of your organisation. Each organisation's data is separated by database-level row security rules, and photos and documents are private files served through short-lived links.

We process personal data under UK GDPR. Our privacy policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights. You can request a copy or deletion of your data at any time.

Yes. Ask via the contact form and we'll provide an export of your asset records. A self-service export is on the roadmap.

On request, or after an account has been closed, we delete your organisation's data as described in our privacy policy.

Free for up to 10 assets. Starter is £29/month (100 assets, 5 users), Professional £99/month (500 assets, 20 users). Enterprise is priced on request. Annual plans save about 20%. Prices exclude VAT.

We're onboarding our first customers personally. Paid-plan features can be used without a card while in early access. We'll give at least 30 days' notice before billing starts, and founding customers keep 30% off for life.

No. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time.
